The small church of Panayia Gorgona took its name from a wall painting which depicts the Virgin Mary with a mermaid's tail.

The chapel of Panagia Gorgonas stands on a spectacular seaside overlooking the fishing harbor. This volume of stone is held by the villagers "of Our Lady of Rakta". The rock is rooted in the bottom. He lifts his beetle out of the water like a summer that half-fed and stoned there. People threw a richtime on the rock extension.
