The design of the Miraculous Mary, often referred to Our Lady of Grace, comes from an apparition of the Virgin Mary that appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in Paris in 1830. It shows the Virgin Mary standing on a cloud with radiant light emanating from her outstretched hands.  It reminds the faithful of Mary’s devotion and promise to the world and it conveys special graces upon the wearer.
