This is a set of over 100 coloured pictures depicting Verbs and Actions. It contains many items which cover aspects of every day life for all ages. The pictures are suitable for all communication systems and books or folders, Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, communication books, and many other communication methods.

This is an excellent pack to start with when using a visual communication system or as an accompaniment to other packs. The pictures are easily understood by the child, young person or adult and they will learn to use them quickly.

The sets are available in four different sizes and also on key rings. The pictures are suitable for all communication systems and books/ folders. For example Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, communication books, and many other communication methods.

The key ring option makes transportation and communication between places very easy.

This set is offered as Flash cards which are 7 X 10 cm and also square cards in sizes 3 cm, 4.5 cm and 6 cm. All sizes are also on sale on key rings. The flash cards and key rings do not have Velcro dots on the back but the square cards do for use with communication systems.

There are three different packs as well as the individual items:-

The Combined Pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cards and another on a key ring, a set of flash cards and another on a key ring.

The 4.5 card pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cm cards and another on a key ring.

The flash cards pack contains: - a set of flash cards and another on a key.

The pictures are laminated, so they can be wiped clean. All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used.

The pack is perfect in any setting, including schools, nurseries, childminders, care homes and personal home use and will help all children/ young person/ adults who have autism/ special needs/ learning difficulties. It is also ideal as an Early Learning Aid.

If using a visual communication system for the first time there are things you may need to consider such as the age and dexterity of your child/ young person/ adult. So we offer this pack in three sizes.

The 6 cm pictures are especially good for young children and those with visual difficulties. The very popular 4.5 cm pictures are great for children/young people/adults who are learning how to use a visual communication and while they develop their fine motor skills. They are easier to use than the 3 cm pictures which are for the more practised children/young people/adults.

You may also wish to think about how portable your system might need to be and how many cards your child/ young person/ adult will possibly have to carry around, as this may determine the size of the pictures you want. Many people use a larger size at home or school/activity/care centre and use a smaller more portable set when travelling between places. Eventually the smaller size could be used more permanently. Consider eventually buying two sets so you can have one at home and one at another place which is attended regularly as consistency is very important.
