NRMT/MT-Beautiful Cards

SSPC is Sports Star Publishing Company, a NY based company that produced several sets in the mid 70’s that featured a “pure card” look, meaning the fronts of the cards were without any logos etc. This was the largest set produced. It was produced in 1975 released in 1976. It features many players not in the ’76 Topps set. SSPC had legal issues and was forced to stop making cards because of the Topps monopoly with MLB.
