Often called a "Common Shirt", this style was prevalent from around 1760 throughout the early 1800s. Our shirts are made from a 60/40 linen-cotton blend and have all the characteristics of the originals. Fully gusseted, pleated at the sleeves and plenty long for wear with a belt. Designed from drawings of a period example found in The Frontier Rifleman, by Richard B. LaCrosse, Jr.

The Frontier Pullover is dyed a dark, natural beige color and features a full collar with a button and loop closure and cuffs with a single button. The bottom of the neck opening is finished off with a decorative, double heart applique.
