Effie Mona Mack Estate Antiques and Historical items

In 2005 I purchased many items in the Estate of Effie Mona Mack from her great nephew and her niece (deceased).  This unbelievable Estate contained numerous items including furniture, books, manuscripts and jewelry just to name a few.   Effie Mona Mack (1888-1969), Nevada historian and educator, and university benefactor, is famous for her books on Mark Twain while he lived in Virginia City and other parts of Nevada, she also wrote and published the hard to find "History of Nevada" and "The Indian massacre of 1911 at little High Rock Canyon, Nevada".  The Mack family is one the oldest families in Nevada, I will be offering many of their beautiful and historical items for sale on eBay.  It appears the Mack family were collectors of many things, unfortunately we don't always know the ages of items, so be aware that there may be very old or even some newer items listed.  Rest assured we will do our best to fully describe each item for you, I am a retired jeweler and Graduate Gemologist G.I.A.

We acquired lots of jewelry both gold and silver, which included rings, bracelets, chains and earrings to name a few!  According to her living relatives, Mrs. Mack had the gift shop in the old Mapes hotel and casino (imploded in 2000), located here in Reno, Nevada.  We will be listing them exclusively on eBay at the best deals possible.  Even more incredible when you consider that you can make an offer and name your own price for these fabulous pieces.  Many of these jewelry items are one of a kind either antique or vintage and even a few that appear to be made in the last twenty years.  If you are in the jewelry business and would like to buy several of the pieces we have, please contact us.  We combine shipping on all items to save you money.
