This is SS304 grade stainless steel. This is the common grade for all major industrial applications.

weave specs:

For this listing we have included our 3 best selling options for standard insect screening issues. They are as follows:

Insect mesh - 16 holes per linear inch and a 0.28mm thickness. This is the world's standard specification for insect screening. The holes are 1mm but it has a low wire to hole ratio. This gives good airflow and also means the the mesh is light and easy to cut.
Vivarium mesh - 30 holes per linear inch and a 0.2mm thickness. The wire to hole ratio for this mesh is higher. This means that the holes are smaller, but also it is a heavier mesh and more sturdy than the insect mesh.
Midge mesh - 40 holes per linear inch and a 0.22mm thickness. The wire to hole ratio for this mesh is again higher that it is for vivarium mesh. This is a solid mesh, but can still be easily cut with scissors. The holes are 0.4mm which will prevent midges from sneaking through vents etc.
