Garage door hinges are identified by location on the door they may also be stamped with a number. 

Usually, the hinges in the centre of the door are always #1 and have a single sleeve. 

The hinges between the 2nd and 3rd panels will be #2 hinges. 

Those between the 3rd and 4th panels will be #3 hinges, and so on...
