This New Jersey Regimental Flag is more attractive than the official 34 star U.S. flag of the time. These national presentation colors were manufactured by the Evans & Hassall Company of Philadelphia for all the Union New Jersey regiments after 1863. It became a popular method of arranging the increasing number of stars as the nation grew.
