What sets this publication apart from other books about folk dress is that each costume is shown as a full outfit as well as all of the individual garments and accessories with full descriptions of every item. Only 500 copies of the catalog were published and I acquired it directly at the exhibition in Straznice. As far as I know, it is not available anywhere else and it one of the nicest folk dress exhibition catalogs published in recent years (not as grainy as it looks in the photos). High quality photos with well-researched, informative text. Highly recommended. |
