POWERPART 240v 16amp PRE-WIRED HOOK UP SOCKET or APPLIANCE INLET 

Pre-wired hook-up inlet for Caravans, Campers, Boats, Horseboxes

2 pole and earth.  Rated to 16amps (approx 4.0kW) at 240v.   

The 16amp inlet is contained within the recessed body.   

The body has a hinged lid to provide weather protection.

There are 4 recessed mounting blind holes in the flange, accessed when the cover is opened (visible in photo).  

This model is pre-wired with approx 0.8m of orange 3 core mains cable, terminating in a 3 way connector socket. This can either be connected to using an equivalent style connector plug, or the socket can be removed for the installer to connect as desired.  

 Alternatively, the cable can be removed from the blue plug, and be replaced by a longer length (to remove the blue plug, squeeze the legs together to release them from their locating holes - you will need the help of a screwdriver or similar to do this).

THIS DEVICE HAS EXPOSED MALE PINS, AND IS DESIGNED TO BE FITTED TO AN APPLIANCE (eg BOAT, CARAVAN, CAMPER etc) TO RECEIVE AN INCOMING MAINS ELECTRICAL SUPPLY.   

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST THIS DEVICE BE USED AS A 'SOCKET' ON AN OUTGOING LIVE SUPPLY.
