DOCTOR WHO VERY RARE HEAD UP DISPLAY MINI BUST SEVENTH DOCTOR SYLVESTER McCOY!

These very rare and unique items were released between 1996 and 1999 under the name Head-Up Display. Sculpted by someone who had previously worked for Dapol, this series of mini-busts and small figures (known as Mini Terrors) were sold exclusively on the convention circuit and mail order.

Handcrafted and painted they are 7 - 11cm tall, made of plaster and featured a wide variety and versions of Doctor Who characters and monsters including various versions of Doctors one to eight, the Master and a series of Cybermen from The Tenth Planet through to Silver Nemesis.  A specially designed base for the whole series was sold separately to the busts.  

Among the monsters available were an Ogron, Bok, Azal, Ice Lord, Ice Warriors, Kraal, Scaroth, Omega, Sea Devil, Silurian, Zygons and the Dumb, Voc and Super Voc Robots.

This series were never made in large quantities and are now very rare and extremely collectable. I’ve been collecting these busts for some years and decided to sell some of my spare versions so I’ll be selling around a few of these busts.

This auction is for a bust of the Seventh Doctor as played by Sylvester McCoy. There were a few versions of the Seventh Doctor (including a very rare hatted version) and this one has a very good likeness. The bust is in excellent as new condition with no chips or paint loss.
