Description:
For sale is a Doogee F5 Octa-Core 1.3GHz mobile android smart phone with accessories. It comes with 2x spare screen protectors (1st plastic one is new and never used). The other, is a aftermarket 9H tempered glass pro+ screen protector. The phone is in pristine mint condition throughout with some very minor scuffs and marks. I have also included: a hard clear plastic back case cover. The phone is currently running the original factory ROM: Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS updated via web to latest version OTA.
The phone is unlocked to run worldwide where there is 2G GSM/ 3G UMTS (WCDMA) or 4G LTE networks. There is also numerous software packages pre-installed. A very good phone for business use. A very fast and versatile phone that has GPS so you can install your own Sat-Nav navigation sofware, or alternativey use the google maps software pre-installed on the phone. The device has a clear crisp Hi-Resolution Full HD screen. The battery life is exceptionally good on this phone. It has a aftermarket tempered glass 9H rated screen that has been removed and will come with the phone not fitted.
There have been lately some marking that show in direct sunlight around the edges but cannot be seen when the screen backlight is lit. I think this is due to moisture entering around the edges and under the screen protector. See the photos for more details.
Problem Description:
The screen has absorbed some moisture at edges and as a result, the touch screen digitizer does not work correctly. The LCD panel is not affected and does display in razor sharp crisp colours. The screen and LCD have no marks at all on them. All other functions of this phone appear to be normal. No other testing has been done and the phone and accessories are sold 'as seen' and with no warranties or returns accepted. You can source a new replacement touch screen and digitizer from the internet at a moderate low price of around £5 to £10 delivered.
