This is a rare September 21st, 1959 playbill from the Pre-Broadway engagement of the ANITA LOOS play "CHERI" at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. (The production would open October 12th, 1959 at the Morosco Theatre in New York City and close after only 56 performances.) ..... The play starred KIM STANLEY and HORST BUCHHOLZ (both shown in the cover photos) and featured LILI DARVAS, EDITH KING, JOAN GRAY, JOHN GRANGER, FRIEDA ALTMAN, LUCY LANDAU, JAMES COLLAMORE, JANE MOULTRIE, ANGELO DEL ROSSI, BYRON RUSSELL and MARGOT LASSNER .....
