This is a rare November 24th, 1947 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Post-London Tour engagement of the JEAN COCTEAU romantic melodrama "THE EAGLE HAS TWO HEADS" at the Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham, England. (The Original West End production opened February 12th, 1947 at London's Haymarket Theatre, transferred to the Globe Theatre on April 14th, 1947 and closed July 12th, 1947 after 170 performances. The Original Broadway production would open March 19th, 1947 at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City and close after only 29 performances.) .....
