This is a rare July 7th, 1947 programme (playbill) from the closing week of the Original West End production of the JEAN COCTEAU romantic melodrama "THE EAGLE HAS TWO HEADS" at the Globe Theatre in London. (The production opened February 12th, 1947 at London's Haymarket Theatre, transferred to the Globe Theatre on April 14th, 1947 and closed July 12th, 1947 after 170 performances. The Original Broadway production opened March 19th, 1947 at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City and closed after only 29 performances.) .....
