Description
This keying adapter is designed to sit between a low power device (an iambic key module for instance) and a transceiver that requires a higher switching capability than can be provided by the key module. Using dual fast switching mosfets (type may vary) the changeover is not mechanically limited as is possible when using mechanical relays. Isolation between the input signal and the output is provided by an optoisolator with 2.5KV internal isolation. The module is approx 2.5" x 1.5" and powered by its own self contained coin cell eliminating the need for extra power supplies and cables.
