This is a rare broadside (single page playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the JOHN VAN DRUTEN play "I AM A CAMERA" at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production opened November 28th, 1951 at the Empire Theatre in New York City and ran for 214 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play, which eventually became the basis of the award winning JOHN KANDER and FRED EBB musical "CABARET", starred JULIE HARRIS as "Sally Bowles" (winner of the first of her four Tony Awards for "Best Actress in a Play") and featured CHARLES COOPER, OLGA FABIAN, EDWARD ANDREWS, HARRIET MacGIBBON, WILLIAM ALLYN and JANET DOWD .....
