Fully Framed T10 $10 1861.  PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25
The July 25, 1861 $10 notes did not pay interest. They are another type lithographed by Hoyer & Ludwig, Richmond and have many varieties. The interesting design shows seated Liberty at the top center with an eagle and a shield on which is the Confederate flag. Standing Commerce is at the lower left. Different dies are in three corners. The vignette adaptations, except for the addition of the Confederate flag, were taken directly from Rawdon, Wright, Hatch& Edson intaglio notes from before the War. Noted with rust stains which are minor. . A type that becomes much more valuable in VF grade.
