Tatanka Tamaheca  underneath crossed-out inscription. All 3 photos taken by Heyn Photo in Omaha Nebraska. Herman Heyn was an important portrait photographer in Omaha from 1880's through the 1920's. He is nationally noted for more than 500 images he created of Native Americans, mostly Sioux. These are prints of the original photos produced by Burkley Printing Company. Estimated age of these prints are 60 to 80 years old. The prints have some water damage to them at the bottom of the pictures. Tatanka Ptieela, Short Bull’s print has the worst damage.
