This is a rare August 6th, 1962 program (playbill) from the two-week engagement of the RICHARD RODGERS and OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II musical "THE KING AND I" at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Washington, D.C. (The Original Broadway production opened March 29th, 1951 at the St. James Theatre in New York City and ran for 1246 performances. The New York City Center revival opened May 11th, 1960 and ran for a limited engagement of 23 performances.) ..... The musical starred FARLEY GRANGER and BARBARA COOK (reprising their starring roles in the 1960 New York City Center production) and featured MARA WORTH, KEITH PRENTICE, ELIZABETH MANNION, RICHARD OGUST, WALTER KINSELLA, ARTHUR GARRISON, BERT VALLENCOURT, WALTER BLOCHER, SUSAN KIKUCHI, YURIKO, MARION JIM and LAWRENCE KIKUCHI .....
