This is a rare May 9th, 1955 "On Stage" playbill from the National Tour engagement of the ROBERT WRIGHT and GEORGE FORREST musical "KISMET" at the Shubert Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. (The production opened December 3rd, 1953 at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City and ran for 583 performances before going on the road.) ..... The Tony Award winning "Best Musical" starred WILLIAM JOHNSON and ELAINE MALBIN and featured JULIE WILSON, HENRY CALVIN, BEATRICE KRAFT, RICHARD ONETO, TRUMAN GAIGE, DENNIS GURNEY, EARLE MacVEIGH, BRUCE MacKAY, KIRBY SMITH, ETHEL MARTIN, LUCY ANDONIAN, GEORGE MARTIN, RONNIE FIELD, ADELINE GAHETON, APRIL GASKINS, ANIA ROMAINE, ROBERTA STEVENSON and STEVE REEVES (who had made his Broadway debut as a cast replacement late in the run.) .....
