This is a crime novel/ love story where one of the main characters is a female polio survivor who is a fulltime wheelchair user.

 

  Synopsis

 

Jeff Bowden is deliberating where his life path is leading him. He has been working at the International Justice Enforcement Department for the last ten years, and is now contemplating his future.

His boss, Nancy Swift, has been harbouring secret feelings for him for the past 20 years, but has never found the courage to act upon them. On hearing of his plans for retirement she convinces him to stay for one last case, which takes them both around the world on the hunt for a serial killer. Whilst on their travels the romance that she has been so desperate to happen for years blossoms into an intense love affair.

Upon their return home they settle down, but after a promotion for Nancy and a move to a different department for them both, another case takes them to Saldo Cay, where the stakes are higher than ever before.

 

Author biography

 

Philip G. Marshall is an ex sportsman and motorboat skipper. He has also run several successful businesses and travelled extensively. He is an award winning designer and inventor who is also an avid collector and cook.

 He has written numerous articles for magazines and a cookery column.

 He lives in West Sussex with his wife when they are not travelling.

 This is his first novel.
