The TOD9 True Tube Overdrive is the world's smallest tube overdrive effector, with a miniature Military Reliable vacuum tube mounted on Maxon's compact "9 Series" case. It produces a powerful and comfortable tube sound that can not be obtained with a digitally processed simulator.

Inheriting the sound of MAXON OD9, you can get a drive with a united middle-high range. By operating the TUBE knob, it is possible to mix tube sound with distortion of the OD9 system, adding a thick and warm sound like a tube amp.

Moreover, the 9V voltage supplied from the AC adapter is boosted to 30V by the internal circuit, and the stable high quality sound is always obtained by the generous head room.
