Rare genuine original World War II era evaluation report.

Report No.110. U.S.A.A.F. Aircraft Evaluation Report for the German Messerschmitt - 109F.  Prepared by Materiel Command, Engineering Division, Wright Field, Dayton, Ohio. Printed by The Air Service Command. Report consists of a card cover, loose-leaf, stapled at the upper left corner and measures approx. 21 x 27cm., 10 page.

Report is dated on the bottom of the front cover, 7th February 1943. Marked as 'Restricted'.

Report includes a general description of the aircraft, with representative performance and characteristics as compared to American aircraft types. Also has a detailed description, weights/dimensions/recognition silhouettes, list of armaments, functions and combat tactics, engine characteristics and estimated performance.

Report is Illustrated with b&w photographs.

An extremely rare original document that would have been prepared in an attempt to ensure that the Allies fighters were at least comparable with those of the Axis forces. Has punched filing holes on the left edge. Good condition for it’s year with some signs of use and age related wear etc.
