Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old stock output shaft and ring gear assembly, Ford part number B5A-77059-D. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to my Ford & mercury Manuals, this is used on the following models and years:
1955-1956 Mercury...With Mercomatic Transmission
1956 Ford...w/ 312, 3 speed Ford-O-Matic Transmission
1957 Ford..w/ 4-Bbl Carburetors, w/ Ford-O-Matic Transmission
1957 Ford Station Wagon...w/ 312, w/ Ford-O-Matic Transmission
The output shaft and ring gear assembly is in brand new, never used condition and is free of any rust or damage. It is still heavily greased from the manufacturer. The original Ford box is in fair condition.
