Condition Notes

I only sell genuine vintage items so by their very nature, the clothes are second hand and pre-loved. I always try to describe the items fully, mentioning any damage or areas of particular wear. Some of these items are very old and it's expected that the customer will understand that they will have signs of use appropriate with age and their used condition. Vintage homemade items do not have the sewing finesse of factory made garments and there is likely to be inconsistencies in the stitching and a few loose threads. If you want new perfect clothing or take exception to small flaws on a used dress that is over 60years old then my stock will not be appropriate for you.  I ship from a smoke/pet free home.

Sizing Notes

All items are described to the best of my ability providing measurements to give you as clear an idea as possible of sizing. I measure each garment lying flat un-stretched. The bust measurement is taken where I consider the the bustline to be, usually about an inch under the armpit seam. The hip measurement is taken 10" below the waistband. The length is measured from the nape of the neck at the back. Your own measurements will need to be smaller than the measurement of the garment. Vintage sizes are not the same as modern sizes so always go by the actual measurements and feel free to ask questions if you're not sure.

Shipping & Insurance Notes

To try to ensure an item arrives safely, all items are shipped using a tracked & signed for service. The shipping cost quoted on this listing does not include any insurance. Please let me know if you would like me to add the extra cost for insurance cover onto the shipping fee. I cannot be responsible for tracked items which go missing if you have not paid for insurance cover.

I aim to ship within 3 days of your order. (NB with the current virus situation, this may now take longer)

Return/Exchanges/Cancellations are not accepted unless I have grossly misrepresented an item.
