Hyacinth Bean Vine, Dolichos Lablab, Egyptian Kidney Bean, Filipino Bataw, Lablab Purpureus is a fast growing, climbing vine with its delicious, tender pods or beans is a popular vegetable/bean in Southeast Asian, African, & Egyptian cooking.  It's in the Fabacae Bean family and has showy purple flowers that form into snow peas shaped tender pods.
