Since its debut in 1989, one of the rock band's greatest bands that has been leading the progressive metal world has transferred to Sony Music, the first of its kind.
They are proud of their rich musicality that cannot be described simply as HR/HM, and their overwhelmingly wide-ranging musicianship and beautiful melody full of melancholy are their great charms.
It's also new to me that the previous 2016 work "The Astonishing" was a magnificent rock opera that lasted more than two hours with an orchestra.
The only thing they aimed at in this work, where the label was transferred and the mind changed.
"It was about going back to our roots and making a more organic album. We collaborated to bring back the heavy, progressive side and make music that's really fun to play. My goal is to make the Dream Theater work with the best sound of all.” (John Petrus).
