Here are some of the applications that this mesh can be used for:

8 x 0.71mm Wire = 2.27mm Hole -  We sell a lot of this mesh for beekeeping. This mesh is used to act as a filter at the base of a beehive to prevent ingress to the varroa mite

16 x 0.28mm Wire = 1.31mm Hole -  This is the standard spec for insect screening. This mesh has a high open area % and is the ideal hole size to block insects

16 x 0.4mm Wire = 1.19mm Hole -  This is the standard spec for rodent mesh. This is our most popular mesh specification

40 x 0.22mm Wire = 0.42mm Hole -  This is the standard spec for midge/mosquito screening. The holes in this mesh are ideal for blocking midges as they are smaller than standard insects

100 x 0.1mm Wire = 0.154mm Hole -  This is the standard spec for oil filtration. See also the same mesh specification in brass as this works even better

180 x 0.03mm Wire = 0.111mm Hole -  This is the standard spec that we recommend for dress making. You wouldn't believe how fine and soft this stainless steel cloth is. We have supplied it to several high profile costume making projects.
