Description: The base to a large Heisey Glass Co Recessed Panel candy jar, lacking its lid.

This is the 3 lb jar, one of the larger of the six sizes of this form made. It's been elaborately decorated by an outside decorating company, with gray cutting along the panels, a hammertone cutting to the top back, which has been gilded, with oval windows which are hand-painted with pink roses. The band has been reverse-painted with black enamel.

Size: 8.5" tall, 5.375" in diameter at mouth, 4.875" at base.

Mark: Large H-diamond logo in center of underside of foot.

Condition: No lid, nick to the rim, light wear to gilding.
