BBC LS3 /5a, Limited Edition, Gold Plated KEF speakers, one owner! Bought new by my father in 1995 (The Kef's were the LAST TRUE LS35a EVER MADE , as after these were made (till 1998) the B110 5 inch drivers finished due to nobody making the bextrene  based cone anymore  . therefore all others that are made after 1998 don't have the B110 and T27's anymore , and are made with other drivers like Monacor and other replacements !!

These are the 11 Ohm variant ( the best one out there , in my opinion due to the revised version of the B110 , which is a 6 ohm version with a slightly bigger magnet , and a better power handling  ( i had the Rogers 15 ohm , so i could make a fair comparison )

Thay were my father's lovely speakers

Always used inside the house on a German made turntable/amp Ziphona RFT PA2040 2x10Watts of power (for some reason my father loved the combination of the 2 and never changed anything in his setup, only listening to vinyls, casette tapes, and some reel to reel tapes)

as they came in a single box (the box was lost about 11 years ago when we moved house), so just the speakers in this sale!

In good condition for the age

a few marks here and there, but are in the original condition from new, never tampered with, never repaired , opened , or anything of the sort!

The sound that they are projecting is OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING, as transparent as a speaker can ever get , that pin point midrange and sweetness that literally NO OTHER speaker has !!

THESE ARE THE RAREST VERSION OF LS35a , they come up extremely rare for sale ,as they were made in a very low number ! ( If you don't belive me , good luck in finding another pair :)  , the Rogers were the most mass produced, not because they are better , or the 15 Ohm is better than the 11 Version , these are just stories 😉  !
