This is a Pat Areias Sterling Silver “Cowgirl – Ladies” Hair Clasp or Barrette.
Made in the U.S.A. Item # 295.
DESCRIPTION:
FRONT: The Sterling
Silver Hair Clasp is HANDMADE in the U.S.A. The center of the Clasp features a raised
Long Horn Head. The outside perimeter of
the clasp is Sterling Silver (.925) Rope Edging.
The raised Sterling Silver Long Horn Head measures 2.25 inches (2 1/4”)
tip of one Long Horn to the tip of the other Long Horn. The Long Horn face measures .75 inch (3/4”) from
between the horns to end of snout.
BACK: The back of the Sterling Silver Hair Clasp is Hallmarked, “Pat AREIAS” with a Copyright C in a
Circle, “STERLING” and “925”. The Hair Clasp mechanism
is Hallmarked “MADE IN FRANCE”. The Hair Clasp mechanism
(stainless steel) is made in France and is spring loaded to open. The Hair Clasp mechanism made in France is
superior to the cheap ones made in other countries such as China, etc.
CLASP DIMENSIONS – SIZE: The Pat Areias Sterling Silver Hair Clasp is 2.75 Inches (2 3/4”) in length. The Pat Areias Sterling Silver Hair Clasp is 1.25 inches (1 1/4”) at the widest point
which is the center with the Long Horn Head.
CONDITION: I purchased a couple of these barrette new for my wife but she never wore them. Excellent condition. See pictures for details.
COMPOSITION: Hair Clasp face is made of solid Sterling Silver (.925) and the Clasp mechanism is
made of Stainless Steel.
