This is a set of over 35 picture cards showing various basic items of furniture. They are great for reinforcing the learning of the various names and can be used to discuss how to use and describe them. There are also good for the person using them to ask for the item and to also say that they need one or buy a new one. They are also an ideal starter pack when first using a visual communication system.

The sets are available in four different sizes and on key rings. The pictures are suitable for all communication systems, books, and folders. For example, Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, communication books, and many other communication methods.

The key ring option makes transportation and communication between places extremely easy. 

This set is offered as Flash cards which are 7 X 10 cm and square cards in sizes 3 cm, 4.5 cm, and 6 cm. All sizes are also on sale on key rings. The flash cards and key rings do not have Velcro dots on the back, but the square cards do for use with communication systems.

The Combined Pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cards and another on a key ring, a set of flash cards and another on a key ring.

The 4.5 card pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cm cards and another on a key ring.

The flash cards pack contains: - a set of flash cards and another on a key.

The pictures are laminated, so they can be wiped clean. All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used.

If using a visual communication system for the first time there are things you may need to consider such as the age and dexterity of your child, young person, or adult. So, we offer this pack in four sizes.

The 6 cm pictures are especially good for young children and those with visual difficulties. The immensely popular 4.5 cm pictures are great for children, young people, adults who are learning how to use a visual communication and while they develop their fine motor skills. They are easier to use than the 3 cm pictures which are for the more practised children, young people, and adults. There are also the 7 X 10cm flash cards.

You may also wish to think about how portable your system might need to be and how many cards the user will possibly have to carry around, as this may determine the size of the pictures you want. Many people use a larger size at home or school, activity, care centre and use a smaller more portable set when travelling between places. Eventually the smaller size could be used more permanently. Consider eventually buying two sets so you can have one at home and one at another place which is attended regularly as consistency is particularly important.
