the Holy Madonna is depicted in sitting position and presenting the Holy Child

the Madonna statue has glass eyes and many of it's original polychrome: gold, red, blue and white,

the wood has no worm holes and is firm, no cracks,

the small child might be a replacement, because the carving seems more primitive,

he is missing his crown or halo

the Madonna hands also seem replacements,

the crown is of a white metal.
