This is a rare November 3rd, 1958 playbill from the opening weeks of the Original Broadway production of the LESLIE STEVENS comedy "THE MARRIAGE-GO-ROUND" at the Plymouth Theatre in New York City. (The production opened October 29th, 1958 and ran for 431 performances.) ..... The play starred CLAUDETTE COLBERT and CHARLES BOYER (both pictured on the cover) and featured JULIE NEWMAR (Tony Award for "Best Featured Actress in a Play") and EDMON RYAN ..... Side Note: In what had been a well-publicized dispute over who would receive top billing, it was eventually agreed that two different Playbill covers would be distributed, one with CLAUDTTE COLBERT featured prominently and the other with CHARLES BOYER similarly photographed .....
