This is a set of over 65 picture cards showing various basic everyday female personal care products. They are superb for prompting and reminding the child, young person, or adult what to use and what is needed for each personal care task. They can be used as prompts during the task, or as a timeline for showing how to do a certain task, or as part of a visual shopping list. These are an ideal starter pack when first using visuals or reminding those with memory loss or brain fog, what they need to use for their personal care, as well as for nonverbal children and adults and those who find visuals an easy way to remember or to follow instructions. We also do a male pack as well as a makeup & beauty pack which compliment this one. 

The sets are available in four different sizes and on key rings. The pictures are suitable for all communication systems and books or folders. For example, Pecs, story lines, story boards, sentence strip, schedules, communication books, and many other communication methods.

The key ring option makes transportation and communication between places extremely easy. 

This set is offered as Flash cards which are 7 X 10 cm and square cards in sizes 3 cm, 4.5 cm, and 6 cm. All sizes are also on sale on key rings. The flash cards and key rings do not have Velcro dots on the back, but the square cards do for use with communication systems. There is an option of having them with rounded corners as well as the more usual square ones.

There are three different packs as well as the individual items: -

The Combined Pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cards and another on a key ring, a set of flash cards and another on a key ring.

The 4.5 card pack contains: - a set of 4.5 cm cards and another on a key ring.

The flash cards pack contains: - a set of flash cards and another on a key.

The pictures are laminated, so they can be wiped clean. All our items come packed in a re-usable folder for safe storage when not being used.

The pack is perfect in any home setting, including schools, nurseries, childminders, care homes and personal home use and will help all children, young people and adults who have autism,  special needs, memory loss, brain fog or learning difficulties. It is also ideal as an Early Learning Aid and for English as a second language.

If using a visual communication system for the first time there are things you may need to consider such as the age and dexterity of your child, young person, or adult.

The 6 cm pictures are especially good for young children and those with visual difficulties. The immensely popular 4.5 cm pictures are great for children, young people and adults who are learning how to use a visual communication and while they develop their fine motor skills. They are easier to use than the 3 cm pictures which are for the more practised persons.

You may also wish to think about how portable your system might need to be and how many cards your child, young person or adult will possibly have to carry around, as this may determine the size of the pictures you want. Many people use a larger size at home or school, activity or care centre and use a smaller more portable set when travelling between places. Eventually the smaller size could be used more permanently. Consider eventually buying two sets so you can have one at home and one at another place which is attended regularly as consistency is especially important.
