This is a rare January 1983 "Showbill" playbill from the Original Off-Broadway production of the obscure MATT CREEGER play "NAKED HIGHWAY" at New York's Actors' Playhouse Theatre ..... Directed by Gay Porn pioneer JOE GAGE, the dramatic comedy is set at the remote "Juke Box Diner" in the Southwest desert and depicts the highly charged, sometimes violent relationships that develop among eight virile and desperate men trapped in a life and death situation. The diner's handsome owner, his 18 year-old son, a burly young truck driver, a worldly visiting artist, a rangy local cowboy, a rugged state trooper and two tough escaped convicts with nothing more to lose make up the cast of characters in this comedic drama which roller-coasts its audience from high jinx to high drama -- from heart clutching emotion to gut busting laughter. Eight vibrant men are driven to do things they never thought possible! Eight lives collide on the "NAKED HIGHWAY" and no-one will ever be the same again! (Reprinted from the play's press release which is available in a separate listing.) ..... The ensemble cast included CULLY HOLLAND as "Denver", CAVANAUGH REILLY as "Doug", RICHARD LEE PORTER as "Billy", GARRY "Gary" HUNT as "Aaron", TOM WHYTE as "Racklin", LYNN MILLER as "Colt", BRIAN SMIGA as "Gopher" and CHRIS BENSINGER as "Brig" .....
