This is a rare November 7th, 1932 souvenir program from the one-week, North Cheshire Amateur Society production of the OSCAR HAMMERSTEIN II, FRANK MANDEL and SIGMUND ROMBERG musical romance "THE NEW MOON" at the Regal Super Cinema in Altrincham, Cheshire, England. (The Original West End production opened April 4th, 1929 at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London and ran for 148 performances.) ..... The musical starred CLARA CLARKE as "Marianne Beaunoir" and W. CONDITION: With the exception of minor soiling to the covers, rust marks at the staples and a corner crease to the back cover, this rare program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
