This is a rare March 23rd, 1936 broadside (single page playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the VINCENTE MINNELLI, HOWARD DIETZ and ARTHUR SCHWARTZ musical revue "AT HOME ABROAD" at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. (The production opened September 19th, 1935 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City and ran for 198 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred BEATRICE LILLIE, ETHEL WATERS, HERB WILLIAMS and MITZI MAYFAIR and featured REGINALD GARDNER, PAUL HAAKON, VERA ALLEN, JOHN McCAULEY, NINA WHITNEY and ROBERT SHAFER ..... CONDITION: With the exception of heavy creasing and minor edge wear, this playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
