This is a 1:12 scale reproduction of a case of the Vietnam War era Long Range Patrol ration.  This case has been faithfully reproduced according to the markings and dimensions of the first pattern LRP ration carton.  The cases are glued together and are not meant to be opened.

Contrary to popular belief, LRP rations were not exclusively issued to LRRP/Ranger units and SOG.  A number of line infantry units were issued LRP rations as a supplement to their standard C-Rations.  This was especially the case in the 1st 'CAV in the latter years of the war.

It was unbelievably difficult to find solid references for the markings and dimensions of the Vietnam War issue LRP ration cartons.  I contacted various official archives and military museums, and none could provide photos.  Eventually, I was able to track down two versions of the LRP cartons.  This is the early carton version, which were based on the C-Ration carton and were the same dimensions.  I believe, but I am not certain, that this mirrored the change from the canvas and Mylar packets to the plastic packets.

The 1:12 (6") scale toys are the hottest new action figures on the market!  They offer portability and a greatly reduced cost from the popular but extremely expensive 1:6 figure lines.  The popularity of 6" figures in the highly detailed Figma, comic book and military lines is exploding!  They offer similar articulation and detail, and will require their own sets of accessories for display and dioramas.

Make sure to look out for future 1:12 printables and accessories for figures from different eras!

* Each order will consist of four (4) of these cases in a polybag (shown).  This order is for the LRP cases ONLY!  The figures ARE NOT included and are intended for scale and display reference.
