Many Dodge and RAM trucks have one or two somewhat useless cubbyholes in the center of the dash under the radio and a/c vents.  This system allows you to use that hole to provide a pair of mounting points for your smartphone, tablet, or both.   See the second picture above - the cubby hole on the right is where this goes.  Some trucks have just one cubby on the passenger side as shown in the photo, but some have one each side and some don't have them at all - this depends on the specific option package in your truck so you'll have to look.  This dash arrangement is in many Dodge and RAM pickup & chassis cab trucks from 2013-present.  If you're unsure of fit, feel free to message us or go to our Ebay store home page for our customer service phone.

Includes the dash insert, a pair of RAM Tough-Ball mounts, a RAM double-socket arm, and RAM X-Grip holder.  Works with most 7" & 8" tablets including all versions of the iPad Mini, Google Nexus, the medium-size Galaxy series and others.    Includes a double socket arm, powder-coated aluminum c-clamp base and X-Grip™ cradle.  Installation is quick and easy.

Designed into the mount is a 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system.   This provides adjustment points at each end while isolating your tablet from harmful vibration.

The RAM X-Grip™ II has a clean and clever four leg design that sports great holding power without hiding your tablet behind foam pads and plastic.  Consists of a spring loaded holder and 1" rubber ball connected to the back of the base. Easy access grip knobs on the back of the holder allow quick release of your tablet.  Expands and contracts for a perfect fit of most 7" & 8" tablets, with or without a case in place.
