Overview of the functions
The touch sensor allows for multi-touch command entry (e.g. finger movements). Multi-touch gestures such as scrolling, zooming, rotating and more are supported. The new Bamboo works with a better resolution for high precision. Particularly pleasant feel to working on paper-like tablet surface.

The graphics tablet is simply connected to the computer via USB cable. Comes with interactive learning software to familiarise the user with the whole range of features, step by step.

Navigation
With the Touch Ring featured on some Bamboo models you can comfortably scroll easily through long documents and in some programs even zoom in and out of pictures. Navigating with the pen basically works in all operating systems; some scrolling and zooming functions of some Bamboo tablets only work in Microsoft Vista and MacOS X.

Gestures
Every day we perform the same action several hundred times: copy, paste, undo, scroll, go forward and backwards on websites etc. Usually we need a keyboard shortcut or a mouse to do so. But with Bamboo we can perform all of these actions with a single movement.

Small, short gestures can trigger a particular action. This makes everything faster, easier and more intuitive. Microsoft Vista has the "Pen Flicks" function, which allows you to combine all standard actions with a pen movement in a given direction. MacOS X uses gestures with Inkwell, letting you combine actions with small symbols.
