STEPHEN HAWKING.  Stephen Hawking (1942-2018) was an English theoretical physicist and author best known for his work on the theory of Hawking Radiation.

LATER PRINTING OF ROBERT UHLIG’S GENIUS OF BRITAIN SIGNED BY STEPHEN HAWKING WITH HIS THUMBPRINT

Later printing of Robert Uhlig’s Genius of Britain (London: HarperCollins Publishing, 2010) signed on the title page by Stephen Hawking with his thumbprint and presented to Professor David Howard, Hawking’s laryngologist.  Hawking served as a contributor to the book, contains dust jacket, measures 9.75 by 7.75 inches, 340 pages, in near fine condition with only minor rubbing to the dust jacket, and authenticated by Christie’s, the world’s leading auction house.

Christie’s recently sold a first edition of A Brief History of Time signed by Hawking for over $100,000 in November 2018.
