Daiwa puso su pirmer carrete en venta en 1955. Desde ese tiempo se convirtió en una de las grandes and influyentes empresas en todo el mundo. Daiwa empezó a vender y distribuir sus productos en Estados Unidos en 26 de septiembre de 1966 operando desde pequeña instalación en Culver City, California. Hoy, situada en Cerritos, California, Daiwa Corporation vende sus productos en Estados Unidos, Canada, América del Sur y Central, Europa (GB, FR, DE). Desde el principio énfasis de Daiwa era en la innovación y la calidad. Aqualite Z Float

Beyond the slightly slimmer blank diameter, the optimally balanced rods of the Aqualite Z Float series are further distinguished from the popular Aqualite Float series by their somewhat stiffer backbone and their optimized equipment. The high modular carbon fiber blanks are extremely lightweight and display outstanding casting properties. The very lightweight Seaguide guides support the fast resilience of this exceptional rod – very long and accurate casts are the consequence. The innovatively shaped Seaguide Alien reel seat is very handy thanks to its ergonomic design and supports a convenient handling. The slim handle section, made of premium AAA-cork, shows the rod’s value at the very first glance. The models with a casting weight of 5-35g are equipped with spliced-in solid carbon fiber tip, which together with the strong backbone forms a perfect bending curve under strain.
