The Diamond remains one of the great lost opportunities. The magazine was licensed by MLB who shared season ticket mailing lists with them. The magazine featured outstanding writing, a wonderful selection of photographs and outstanding topics that centered on baseball history. The start-up project was well funded but suffered from mismanagement and was shut down after just nine issues. All nine issues are featured in some of my other auctions. These are all new and unused issues that were acquired from the publisher in Scottsdale, AZ. Great condition and wonderful for collecting and reading!
