These are the common black plastic Sewing Machine foot pedals with the wiring modified so they can be used to activate toys and devices.

Great for children and adults.

Choose with or without factory spring.

The pressure to activate the switch with the factory spring is about 2 pounds. By removing that spring, the switch still operates as intended but now only requires about 6 ounces of pressure.

I can send them to you either configuration. Or you can get it with spring still in and it is easy to remove, so you can adjust as desired.

If you choose Factory Spring Removed, I will take it out of the Foot Pedal before shipping but still include it in the box, in case you want to add it back in yourself.

Momentary switch, it is only conducting when the switch is pressed down.

Compatible with most adapted toys (3.5 mm jack).

Comes with about a 5' cord.

Another excellent product at an affordable price from Santa's Switch Adapted Toys.

You found the button, are you also looking for toys? At a reasonable price?

Santa has started adapting several toys not available anywhere else that I know of.

Check out my other items for sale.

Thank you for looking.

Review from a wheelchair dependent user:

Hello, this is Derek.

What you're doing for special needs children and the disabled is really amazing thank you.
I had spent the last few days in bed because my old switch started sticking. I started looking for a new switch but they were expensive and it would take me a few weeks to save enough and trying to get it through medicaid or medicare would take forever.
That's when I found your switches and oh man am I glad I did.
No more being stuck in bed

You recently sent me 3 switches to try out. Let me start out by saying thank you so much I am incredibly grateful. All 3 switches worked perfectly for operating the tilt on my wheelchair. I am very impressed they are far better than any other switches I’ve tried that are 80$ or more. They also work great for video games and for environmental control switches.

There are many adaptive controllers for all the different gaming consoles and all the adaptive controllers have ports for connecting momentary switches like these.

I use what is called the quadstick controller. The switches plug into the back of it. Below I go into more detail on each switch.

3'' BUTTON SWITCH

USERS: This switch will be great for users with only head and neck movement that use the side or back of their head to hit it. But this switch would also work great for users with arm function but no hand or finger function. The sensitivity and size is perfect for these applications

MOUNTING: I found that peel and stick velcro works great. For using this switch as a head switch I will be getting this mount the disc is 3’’ diameter.  http://modularhose.com/Assistive-Technology/mh-Switch-Solutions/

APPLICATIONS: powerchair tilt, powerchair recline, powerchair elevating legrest, powerchair seat elevation, powerchair changing modes and profiles, turning the powetchair on/off. Video games with a adaptive controller. Environmental control switch

PEDAL SWITCH

USERS: This switch will work great for users that have foot or toe function and no arm or hand function or are double arm amputees or users with arm function but no hand or finger function. The sensitivity with the spring in makes this switch great for mounting in places where the user may accidently bump or hit the switch and don't want it to activate. Without the spring its great for gaming also.

MOUNTING: I found that peel and stick velcro works great. It could also be mounted directly to the leg rest footplates for users that have foot or toe function. I currently have it mounted with velcro on the outside of the lateral support on my chair so I can easily  operate it with my bicep.

APPLICATIONS: powerchair tilt, powerchair recline, powerchair elevating legrest, powerchair seat elevation, powerchair changing modes and profiles, turning the powetchair on/off. Video games with a adaptive controller. Environmental control switch

PALM SWITCH

USERS: This switch will work great for users that have no arm function but do have hand and finger function and can squeeze.

MOUNTING: This switch can simply be placed in the users palm or between the index finger and thumb. I don't have hand or finger function but I had my mom test it out and it worked great.

APPLICATIONS: powerchair tilt, powerchair recline, powerchair elevating legrest, powerchair seat elevation, powerchair changing modes and profiles, turning the powetchair on/off. Video games with a adaptive controller. Environmental control switch

WIth these 3 switches you have basically every disability covered. Regardless of the disability one of the 3 or all 3 will meet the users needs. These switches are awesome. I will definitely be back for more.
