U.S. ARMY SOUL-FUNK Showband Contest POSTER: EAST OF UNDERGROUND Can You Dig It

This 15½ x 21-inch poster, which came with a reissue package of albums by East of Underground and SOAP, is a reproduction of an original 1971 tour poster advertising the soul-funk band of U.S. Army soldiers stationed in Germany: “The First Annual Original Magnificent Special Services Entertainment  Showband Contest Presents EAST OF UNDEGROUND. ?? Can You Dig It  . . .  Entertainment Branch Sued Bayern. HEAVY !!!!” At top: “An Activity of the Army Entertainment Program to stimulate Programming Excellence for the Award of the Irving Berlin Trophy.” Poster has creases where it folded to fit into the reissue box. No tears or markings.
