This item is a single page programme for the closing ceremony of The 1951 Edinburgh International Festival Dated September 8th 1951. This took place in The Usher Hall.
The programme is printed on fairly thick card and appears a bit like an invitation.
The performers were: The Halle Orchestra conducted by Sir John Barbirolli
Scottish actors Lennox Milne and Duncan Macrae
French Theatre Director Andre Barsacq
Mira Sanina, representing Yugoslavia
Fanfares composed for the ocassion by Cedric Thorpe Davie.
Dimensions: 20cm x 14.5cm
Condition is good. There is just a little age staining and a few minor signs of wear.
