On offer is a postcard purchased by Alfred Hugh McCracken, an Australian gunner who signed up in 1915 at 20 years of age and managed to buy a lot of postcards despite serving in Egypt and France before being sent to hospital in Richmond, London after developing a middle ear infection. This postcard measures 14cm x 9cm and is in good, used condition.
